Booties, booties, booties.. You can’t have a perfect winter without booties! I have been slowly making my collection of booties for the fall and winter, how crazy is it that I didn’t have this amazing taupe color! The key to having a great shoe-drobe is to start off with the basics. Make sure you have your black, brown, taupe, cognac, sometimes blue. I say sometimes because blue can be hard to find. Lately blue has made statement and you can’t miss it. Styles are often limited so if you see a good pair grab them!
Now back to this beautiful faux suede goddess. Her name is Sansa and the heel height is 3′. Awesome to give your figure that awesome lift and perfect for walking or standing. I am so loving the thick heel trend right now, because “no lie” the stiletto’s were killing my feet.. however don’t sleep on stilettos.
“Stiletto pumps, in the club,
Whoeva thought that these girls would get crunk,
Stiletto pumps, in tha club,
Whoeva thought that these girls would get crunk
We rockin stilettos *&^%”
Who remembers that song.. anyways.. Divas these shoes are a must have this winter.. This bootie is a year around shoe, perfect for all seasons and easy to dress up or down.

Don’t you just love a good outfit that satisfies your fashion taste! Truth be told this outfit gave me life. I am so excited that the Georgia cold front is coming through. I can finally wear all my winter collections.. I talk as if my closet is a showroom. Anyways, let’s start off with this gorgeous olive green parka.
I was immediately draw to the faux fur. The mixture of purples with the olive green is so pretty. Of course it’s from NY&CO. this jacket is no longer available however they have stocked a new faux fur parka line for this season. I will leave links below, also they have more selections in store!
I did some Black Friday shopping and picked up this $9 long line sweater in this purple color from JCPenny. I figured black matches well with anything so I hit this sweater with my black studded legging from NY&Co. I usually like prints when I have solid pieces, my cheetah print Michael Kors blouse worked perfectly underneath this sweater. Topping this look off with my suede low heel tie up booties form JustFab made this entire look come together. Such a simple outfit that looks pow pow pow!
Ladies have you been wondering about the top 5 must have boots or booties for your closet this fall and winter? Reluctantly I already had a few of these in my shoe-drobe.
Velvet: This trend is always in style however it has taken this fall by storm! Velvet is also being offered in “crushed” velvet and a variety of colors such as burgundy, black, pink, blue and taupe. Combat boots below are from GoJane.
Floral’s: Flora tops, Floral skirts you must have floral shoes! We are taking a journey through the the 70’s with the velvet and floral trend. mix them together and you have the perfect pair! You will find floral prints everywhere this season. Floral prints are a great way to take any basic outfit to stylish! Boots below are from DSW.
Knee High: I love knee high boots unfortunately it is hard for me to find boots that fit my skinny leg.. If you are skinny like me there’s 2 options. Buy a knee high boot that doesn’t not involve zippers or extra material. You can take you boot to any shoe repair to have them fit to your leg. Or you can buy a pair Sam Edleman boots from Nordstroms. He designs knee high boots for skinny legged women like me. Knee highs are great for over jeans, under mini skirts and shorts!
Shooties: Shooties are great for taking your wardrobe from Summer to Fall.. or Winter to spring. I can never wear shooties in the winter as I am always cold… My toes would be frozen by the time I make it down the street. Shooties often add a sexy look to any outfit. It has just enough coverage and exposure to say hey.. look at me! Boots are from JustFab
Embroidery: My honest opinion about this trend can go from classy to trashy real quick! Embroidery is such a classic look, however I feel like some of the summer pieces that were out were very cheap looking! I tried not to venture to far into this trend as it seems like it will come and go very fast. Try to stick with your classic embroidery prints instead of the trendy ones. Boots below are from JustFab.
First off I’m Back!!! I kinda.. cough cough got married and took a break off from my blog.. however I will be uploading details about my dress, veil, shoes and all the other wedding goodies! so stayed tuned for that!
Divas Fall is amongst us.. I truly love summer.. but it’s time to kick it in to gear and dust off those jackets, boots and sweaters.. Well not quite yet, here in Georgia we are still hitting the 80’s with a brisk cool start. eek I am not a fan of cold to hot.. Anyways let’s get to this blog post.
JustFab sent me these “Rayleene booties to review.. and I must say I love them! However I thought the color would be more “Green Olive” versus the brown olive.. but thats okay I now have another excuse to shop for olive booties.. and does it sound like I am disappointed.. They are very comfortable, it comes with a faux tassel zipper and a workable zipper on the inside.. the cool thing is that the zipper trims the opening of the boot!
I kept this look pretty basic if you know what I mean. I threw on a pair of high waisted legging Soho jeans from New York and Company. These leggings are so comfortable I must say.. I must be getting old because I am loving just the ease of comfortable clothing. I paired this look with a simple creme blouse that has lace detailing around the neckline and topped it off with a leopard print bomber jacket also from NY&Co.
Ease into fall with comfort and class. xo happy Fashion Divas
Hey Divas how is your week going thus far? I can’t complain, however I am so not in the right mindset with my wedding being 24 days away.. So forgive me if my blogs are short, sweet or even delayed 🙂
As you all know I love color and prints and I just could not pass up this tribal print sheath dress. The mixture of geometric shapes and the different vibrant colors just scream… Yes! To give this outfit a more rugged look I opted for my open lace booties and this basket weave purse.. Since this dress does not hug the little” shape I do have I went ahead and added a belt to give it a shape. Don’t be afraid to take a leap with your fashion!
How do you mix and match boots.. prints and dresses? xo happy fashion divas!
Ladies I know I know.. it’s not too often that you see anyone wear boots in the summer and when you do they are usually shooties? However I have these darling laser yellow booties that I just had to get out the closet..Why because they were made for walking.. Here are some inspirational tips on how to be confident in whatever you wear in either season
Be confident in the clothes you choose to wear
Hence I do not condone stripper wear lol
It is okay to mix and match prints
It is okay to mix fall pieces with summer
Most of all be inspired and have fun!
Okay now back to the outfit! I paired these laser yellow booties with this sheer floral top, a pair of distressed jeans that have a touch of paint splatter on them. I topped this look off with my old faithful bucket bag. I truly had fun with this look as it brightened up my day! Have fun and mix and match your fall and summer clothes! xo Happy Fashion Divas
Kick off your shoes and relax your feet.. party on down this…. Xscape beat.. “Just Kick It” That is one of my favorite Xscape songs from the 90’s! The weekend is all about being cute and comfortable. Plaid and vests are always a perfect pair. Hailing from my once favorite but no longer store The Limited, I paired this look together with my simple black leggings and open lace booties. Topping this “fit” off with my leather hat and a polka dot Betsey Johnson book bag. It’s its just that simple! It has enough color and print to make this weekend look perfect for just kicking it.
If Items are not available I will leave links to a similar look!
So yes it is true the weather has been crazy here in Georgia. The flowers are blooming.. those nasty flying wasps and hornets are already buzzing around and scaring the heck out of me.. Aand quiet frankly it’s to early for this.. It’s only MARCH!! Okay that’s my rant for the day.. besides all the critters that I do not like.. I am so excited that Spring is on the way!
I decided to hit today with a few neutral colors that was warm enough for the slight cool breeze but cool enough for this warm weather. The cream pearled sweater from NY&CO is the perfect pizzaz to mellow out this H&M striped cardigan. I decided to punch up the outfit with these green skinny jeans..When was the last time you saw green pants? My lace up booties are of course from JustFab.. Are you tired of me saying that yet? I just can’t help it the shoes get me right! to top of this outfit, I decided to add this simple but sophisticated straw fedora from F21. How do you pair your neutrals? xo Happy Fashion Divas.
