So Sorry for the delay on this outfit details.. Sometimes life calls and everything else comes second! Did I ever tell you all how insecure I used to be of my legs, because of how skinny they are.. Well it took me years to gain confidence to be bale to wear short dresses.. shorts and just about anything above the knee. It was not until my early twenties, self evaluation and love for me to say forget it this is the way God made me.. So here I am today wearing clothes above the knee..
Ok now to the outfit details. This lace yellow dress is not a newbie in my closet.. intact it’s a good 5 or more years old.. Hailing form Burlington Coat Factory.. I absolutely love the lace detailing.. the length and the light lining underneath. It’s has an easy access zipper in the back this dress can easily be dressed up or down. I paired it with my simple brown gladiator gold studded sandals from JustFab.. and tied it in with a basket weave two toned hat. I wanted to add color to this look so I opted for this shifted corded weaved multi color purse.

So I decided to wear my favorite leopard print knee length dress from New York & Company, that has cute lace detailing in the front. Had to keep it sexy by pairing this outfit with my knee length boots and a pop of red accented with my Calvin Klein coat. This Kenneth Cole bag tops off this look to be the purr to this out fit! This classic Daishiki was given imported from my hometown California from a vintage store in L.A. My lovely friend Nkechi snagged this for me for $18 (Nkechi’s look viewed on the right). This classic orange, yellow, black, purple and white daishiki is great for the summer. Its 100% cotton and light weight. Now this is one size fits all, however I am super petite and skinny so it fit like a dress on me. the cotton material is very thin so I wore a tank and a pair of jean shorts underneath. There are several stores you can order a daishiki from make sure to check out the link.
