Ladies have you been wondering about the top 5 must have boots or booties for your closet this fall and winter? Reluctantly I already had a few of these in my shoe-drobe.
Velvet: This trend is always in style however it has taken this fall by storm! Velvet is also being offered in “crushed” velvet and a variety of colors such as burgundy, black, pink, blue and taupe. Combat boots below are from GoJane.
Floral’s: Flora tops, Floral skirts you must have floral shoes! We are taking a journey through the the 70’s with the velvet and floral trend. mix them together and you have the perfect pair! You will find floral prints everywhere this season. Floral prints are a great way to take any basic outfit to stylish! Boots below are from DSW.
Knee High: I love knee high boots unfortunately it is hard for me to find boots that fit my skinny leg.. If you are skinny like me there’s 2 options. Buy a knee high boot that doesn’t not involve zippers or extra material. You can take you boot to any shoe repair to have them fit to your leg. Or you can buy a pair Sam Edleman boots from Nordstroms. He designs knee high boots for skinny legged women like me. Knee highs are great for over jeans, under mini skirts and shorts!
Shooties: Shooties are great for taking your wardrobe from Summer to Fall.. or Winter to spring. I can never wear shooties in the winter as I am always cold… My toes would be frozen by the time I make it down the street. Shooties often add a sexy look to any outfit. It has just enough coverage and exposure to say hey.. look at me! Boots are from JustFab
Embroidery: My honest opinion about this trend can go from classy to trashy real quick! Embroidery is such a classic look, however I feel like some of the summer pieces that were out were very cheap looking! I tried not to venture to far into this trend as it seems like it will come and go very fast. Try to stick with your classic embroidery prints instead of the trendy ones. Boots below are from JustFab.
It’s October! I felt the first fall air yesterday.. and you know I was not ready. This month is very significant as we honor Breast Cancer survivors and any loved ones that have passed away. Today’s blog, I am giving you an alternative look to being a survivor! Maybe more like Destiny Child vibe!
Starting from head to toe, I found this quilted bright orange Lands End vest form my favorite upscale consignment store! It is so warm of course lined and even has a pocket on the inside. I just love orange or pink with Camouflage so I knew I would be pairing this skinny stretch camouflage pants from NY&Co. These pants are so comfortable and provide you with enough stretch move around all day in. I told you I am all about comfort these days. I love combining prints with prints and what other great way to pairs the camo print with a screen T-sweat shirt! I found this sweatshirt years ago at Burlington to represent my Californian roots..
To complete this look I opted for these high heels timberland looking boots.. of course they are form JustFab! Ladies when I tell you this boot is so comfortable.. girl.. you see m eyes… This bootie is 4 inches but feels more like 3.. this is because they put a nice platform that creates comfort for your feet. For my accessories I wore my favorite JustFab tote bag and a pair of NY&Co shades..

Lately I have been extremely tired with no energy.. hence maybe because I have not had a vacation this year.. However my honeymoon is around the corner.. whoo hoo.. with that being said.. I am staying motivated with easy and comfortable outfits that easily make a statement!
I am totally digging palazzo pants and prints this summer. I secretly wish I had more.. However these lovely high waisted burgundy stripe pants will easily make you the center of attention! These pants are long, thick (tin enough for summer) and comfortable. I pulled an easy button up sleeves blouse and tucked in, not taking away form the delicate detailing got the pants.
For my accessories my heels I have had for years.. My bag is from JustFab and her name is Talon. She matched perfectly with this outfit. The quilted detailing, the half chain strap and let me not mention that she is structered and has a ton of space to hold all of your goodies! She also comes in a variety of colors (lavender, burgundy, black, slate blue and charcoal). I topped this look off with a simple white and brown hat to give it that extra class. Bam thats it. Simple and classy. This look makes great for work.. dinner or a night out on the town! How do you wear you palazzo pants?
