We all draw inspiration from somewhere or someone. I remember growing up getting my first job at Seaworld with one of my best friends and earning our very first paycheck! We were so excited and all we could think about was going shopping! That’s exactly what we did. My mom took us to the San Ysidro Outlet is San Diego, CA. We shopped at Papaya the Nike outlet, Forever 21 and a few other stores. I saw this because we were totally bestie to the point we bought matching outfits. I am going to try my hardest to find some pictures of us matching! okay So I couldn’t find it.. Vanessa if you got it send it over lol!!
Today I don’t find myself matching with any women but gaining inspiration from my blogger sisters. Today I took some classy and fashionable inspo from my blogger sister Danni Howard the Modern.Day.Classic. She’s super fun, has a great classy style but makes it modern for the everyday women! I totally love it and her.
With that being said dive into this classic look.
I love stripes, from pants, jackets, blouses purses. Stripes can add pop to a classic look or make you look bold and edgy! In this case. I found these crop wide leg split ankle paperbag pants… (whew that was a lot) from TJMAXX. These light weight pants serve for a blend between going to work and or a weekend vibe. I paired these pants with a simple chiffon tank blouse also from TJMAXX for only $7.99!
Keeping this look simple and classy, I chose to pair this outfit with complimentary blush pink block heels. My odd shape shiny pink bag is a perfect match. Both heels and purse are from Justfab.
I’m in love with this look and if I had pink espadrilles I would have wore them just like Danni did!Let me know if you style an outfit like this or how would you style your stripe pants?

Spring and summer are all about being colorful. With this outfit I know I mastered just that. I love mixing colors, prints and textures. It allows my creativity to be free and unique.
With this outfit I went all in with the colors. Here are a few helpful tips to achieve a multicolor outfit with a print.
- Choose either a shirt, skirt, pants or shorts with a bold and big print. weather it’s on top or bottom that doesn’t make a difference
- Pick a sold color shirt or bottom or a complimentary print that is either small or large in size.
- When this i done correctly your print and solid or print on print should even out. Where one does not look heavy on the top or bottom.
- As far as my accessories, I chose one of the colors from the skirt, and chose an opposite color for my shoes.
This skirt offers a bold multi-colored abstract print, that I absolutely adore. Only $13 from Shein official, I couldn’t help myself but to snag it. Please note that this skirt comes in one size fit all I am very small and petite and it fit me just right. however it does have an elastic stretch band in the back. The fringe in my purse provides the texture and my shoes provide simplicity. This outfit is super easy and I love the slogan Yas Curl! why? because my curls are popping. Check out hello tee for fun sayings that support natural hair and black culture.
Are you brave enough to rock and outfit as bold as this? Let me know in the comment section below.

Hey Divas how is your week going thus far? I can’t complain, however I am so not in the right mindset with my wedding being 24 days away.. So forgive me if my blogs are short, sweet or even delayed 🙂
As you all know I love color and prints and I just could not pass up this tribal print sheath dress. The mixture of geometric shapes and the different vibrant colors just scream… Yes! To give this outfit a more rugged look I opted for my open lace booties and this basket weave purse.. Since this dress does not hug the little” shape I do have I went ahead and added a belt to give it a shape. Don’t be afraid to take a leap with your fashion!
How do you mix and match boots.. prints and dresses? xo happy fashion divas!
Ladies I know I know.. it’s not too often that you see anyone wear boots in the summer and when you do they are usually shooties? However I have these darling laser yellow booties that I just had to get out the closet..Why because they were made for walking.. Here are some inspirational tips on how to be confident in whatever you wear in either season
- Be confident in the clothes you choose to wear
- Hence I do not condone stripper wear lol
- It is okay to mix and match prints
- It is okay to mix fall pieces with summer
- Most of all be inspired and have fun!
Okay now back to the outfit! I paired these laser yellow booties with this sheer floral top, a pair of distressed jeans that have a touch of paint splatter on them. I topped this look off with my old faithful bucket bag. I truly had fun with this look as it brightened up my day! Have fun and mix and match your fall and summer clothes! xo Happy Fashion Divas

I paired this look with a black straw sun hat hauls from H&M. To top this look off I decided to bedazzle the foot work with these lace up tribal inspired sandals… can you guess from where..JustFab!

Jumpsuits have truly came back into style for the past few years now.. and I am so loving this trend! Floral print as we know is a must this season and why not rock it on a culotte jumpsuit! Let’s not forget I picked this beauty up from T.J.Maxx, I just love a good bargain.
I am a sucker for good materials and this one is made out of chiffon and comes with a shorts lining underneath. It is light enough to feel a cool breeze on a hot summer day. I would wear this look to work or even out for a drink with the girls!
I like to prepare my date night looks way in advance if possible! A simple slip dress, floral and fringe will always win! This simple but elegant slip dress is from NY&CO. I am sure you could have guessed that! the straps tie as bows and the lace hem line give it the extra touch. You could wear just about any color with this dress but I chose my purple stiletto fringe suede heels… I decided to top this look off with a lavender purple clutch. Don’t worry if your colors or hues don’t match! Adding contrasting colors to any neutral color such s black and white will never clash!
