We all draw inspiration from somewhere or someone. I remember growing up getting my first job at Seaworld with one of my best friends and earning our very first paycheck! We were so excited and all we could think about was going shopping! That’s exactly what we did. My mom took us to the San Ysidro Outlet is San Diego, CA. We shopped at Papaya the Nike outlet, Forever 21 and a few other stores. I saw this because we were totally bestie to the point we bought matching outfits. I am going to try my hardest to find some pictures of us matching! okay So I couldn’t find it.. Vanessa if you got it send it over lol!!
Today I don’t find myself matching with any women but gaining inspiration from my blogger sisters. Today I took some classy and fashionable inspo from my blogger sister Danni Howard the Modern.Day.Classic. She’s super fun, has a great classy style but makes it modern for the everyday women! I totally love it and her.
With that being said dive into this classic look.
I love stripes, from pants, jackets, blouses purses. Stripes can add pop to a classic look or make you look bold and edgy! In this case. I found these crop wide leg split ankle paperbag pants… (whew that was a lot) from TJMAXX. These light weight pants serve for a blend between going to work and or a weekend vibe. I paired these pants with a simple chiffon tank blouse also from TJMAXX for only $7.99!
Keeping this look simple and classy, I chose to pair this outfit with complimentary blush pink block heels. My odd shape shiny pink bag is a perfect match. Both heels and purse are from Justfab.
I’m in love with this look and if I had pink espadrilles I would have wore them just like Danni did!Let me know if you style an outfit like this or how would you style your stripe pants?

I first discovered how well these colors pop together 2 years ago with my frist Eva Mendes Lemon dress.

Many of you know that I struggled with showing my legs, or wearing a bikini. However it has taken me 32 years to dare to show my belly. I know get over yourself? Sometimes confidence comes in all forms, any showing skin wasn’t mine. However After trying this outfit on.. I didn’t look so bad after all.
Whelp it’s Friday and I am letting it..just a bit hang out..It’s warm and it’s time to welcome that melanin glow! This 2 pieces is from TJMaxx and is giving me super bohemian vibes. I love loose fitting pants like this. One they are perfect for the air to flow through on a hot day and two they make me look like I have a booty (lol). The matching off the shoulder top is a no brainier as it’s the perfect length to almost hit the high waisted pants. I paired this look with a weaved color block purse that I found at the Goodwill for $5. Sun hat? why not I love hats, this was actually a gift form years ago. Did I tell you that I am totally loving espadrilles right now? Well I have always had a love for them, however DSW has been getting me right with these deals! These back lace tie up espadrilles and are by Nanette Lepore. They are no longer available online as they were on the clearance rack. So check your local DSW for these beauties.
What are your weekend plans? My business travel was a success now it’s time to get some rest!

- Great for all seasons – you can always layer them with tights underneath.
- High-waisted will cover any food babies or unwanted belly fat you may have.

- With a simple t-shirt tucked in
- a crop top of your choice
- A blouse of your choice – this can be sleeveless, off the shoulder, bell sleeve what every your fashion sense is tell you to do!

Ready to ride out with the boys and still look cute? I put this outfit together on one of those get up and go days! Starting with this cute blue and black quilted Moto jacket from TJMaxx. The jacket is outlined with buttons, buckles and faux leather and always makes a statement. The retro flower print that is quilted has enough pop to jazz up any basic outfit.
